Your Cold Weather Capsule
Changes in weather to colder temperatures and less sunlight brings the perfect time to switch things up in your skincare routine. Especially if you live in a colder climate, your skin requires support to remain healthy and continue to glow (yes, this IS possible during the cold seasons!).
If your skin is starting to feel dry, appear dull, or show blemishes, invest in our COLD WEATHER CAPSULE to enjoy the best skincare during cold weather!
Cleanse your skin with a mild cleanser.
Beautycounter's cleansers are free from irritants like Fragrance and Sulphates and contain soothing properties to cleanse without drying the skin. Try the Counterstart Cococream Cleanser, Countermatch Refresh Foaming Cleanser, or Countertime Lipid Defense Cleansing Oil

Exfoliate your skin using peels
Use peels that contain Alpha Hydroxy and Beta Hydroxy Acids as opposed to physical exfoliants. These acids exfoliate without abrasion and leave your skin smooth and radiant without the irritation of a physical exfoliant.
Brighten with Vitamin C
During cold seasons, your skin needs help defending against harsh weather. Because your soaking up less sunshine, adding in a Vitamin C product can give your skin that boost it needs! Beautycounter's All Bright C Serum is an ultra-potent 10% blend of two forms of vitamin C, turmeric, and camu camu instantly brightens skin and helps even your skin tone. The antioxidant-rich formula also helps defend skin from the damaging effects of environmental stressors (that brutal North wind that whips your face as you walk to the car!).
Add extra hydration
Add extra hydration with facial oils or by using Beautycounter's Lotus Glow Cleansing Balm as an overnight mask. With a blend of lotus extract, jojoba seed oil, and avocado seed oil, Lotus Glow Cleansing Balm soothes and destresses skin while increasing luminosity. It's also dual purpose (which I LOVE) and can be used as a cleanser to remove makeup and impurities and/or applied and left on overnight to soothe dry, wind-whipped skin.
